Madiha is a Ph.D. student in the department of Computing and Information Science. Her work focuses on topics at the intersection of technology, privacy, and law, with a focus on information governance. Specifically, she explores how online communities use technical and legal affordances to express and enact their values, with an emphasis on privacy and openness.

Isabel Corpus is a Ph.D. student jointly advised by Professor Allison Koenecke and Professor Mor Naaman. Her work focuses on the areas of algorithmic fairness and Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Prior to joining Cornell, she spent several years at Spotify as a data scientist. She received her B.S. in Statistics & Data Science from Yale in 2021.

Laura Cortes-Rico is a PhD student in Information Science (since Fall 2023), interested in Human-Computer Interaction, mainly embodied interactions. Her inquiries concern how critical thinking, ethical principles, sustainability, and respect permeate digital technology design and production in peacebuilding contexts. She is from Colombia, where she studied Electronic Engineering (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) and a Master in Systems and Computer Engineering (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana).
