Building and understanding technology around human behaviors.

Human-Computer Interaction and Design research brings together a diverse core of Cornell designers, builders and investigators who help further understanding of interactive technologies and their uses.

HCI researchers study how humans interact with technology, using insights from psychology, design, and computer science to create more effective and enjoyable digital experiences. Through iterative testing and user research, they develop systems that better serve human needs.

Faculty exploring HCI + design.
