A summer of cutting-edge research.
BURE Next (Bowers Undergraduate Research Experience for the Next Generation) is a 10-week summer program that offers undergraduates from across the country a hands-on research experience in computing.
Participants are paired with a Cornell Bowers faculty mentor based on shared research interests in computer science, information science, statistics, or data science. Together, they’ll collaborate on a research project. Participants also attend professional development sessions, social events, and a closing research symposium.
Through BURE Next, students explore advanced research, learn about graduate school opportunities, connect with current Ph.D. students, and gain insight into research-driven careers in tech.
