The AI minor prepares students for the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, combining technical mastery with ethical considerations. To complete the minor, you must take at least six courses (18 credits minimum), with a letter grade of "C" or higher in each. 

• MAE 3200 is also approved for the “Foundations of AI: Machine Learning” category.
• INFO 3170 is also approved for the “Electives” category.
• All “Foundations of AI: Human-AI Interaction” and “Foundations of AI: Ethics, Governance & Policy” courses can be used as electives if NOT used towards the foundations requirement (please be mindful of forbidden overlaps).

Apply for the minor if:

  1. You have completed all required coursework with a grade of “C” or higher; or,
  2. You are in your last semester as an undergraduate and are successfully enrolled in the final course(s) you need to fulfill the minor.
