About
Andrea joined Cornell IS in 2022. She is co-advised by Allison Koenecke and David Mimno. Her research interests lie in the intersection of Natural Language Processing, Data Science, and Computational Social Science. Specifically, Andrea is interested in studying gender bias exhibited in text. Prior to this, she worked at NYU Public Safety Lab on the Jail Data Initiative.
