The Facilities team at Bowers strives to maintain a safe, efficient, and engaging environment that supports learning, research, teaching, and campus life. We manage the college’s buildings, security and access, mailrooms, and infrastructure maintenance.
We partner closely with Cornell’s Facilities and Campus Services, including Building Care, to ensure our spaces and grounds are well maintained.
College Resources + Support
All Bowers faculty, staff, and students should report non-emergency maintenance issues through our ticketing portal.
Building Care supports Cornell's academic, research, and public service mission by providing quality and cost effective custodial maintenance services in all academic buildings. The department strives to maintain a clean, attractive, healthy, and safe environment for all faculty, staff, and students.

If you need to report a maintenance issue that affects safety, security, or research, please call Cornell’s Customer Service at 607-255-5322 immediately. For all other emergencies, dial 911.
For all card access and key requests please contact your department access coordinator who will submit a TDX ticket on your behalf.
Gates Hall and the Computing and Information Science Building offer a variety of meeting rooms and event spaces suitable for group work, seminars, and special events.
