Discover, collaborate and innovate with AI this summer.
This summer, Cornell Bowers will host a fun and educational series designed to bring our community together to explore the exciting world of artificial intelligence. Through a mix of collaborative sessions and hands-on activities, participants will connect, learn, and spark new ideas in the rapidly evolving AI space.
Bowers staff will receive exclusive access to Claude, allowing them to experiment with this powerful AI tool during the sessions and on their own time. Attendees will be set up with accounts and guided on how to use Co-Pilot and Claude effectively to explore its wide range of applications, from automating tedious tasks to generating new ideas and solutions. By the end of the series, you will be well-equipped to engage with AI confidently, critically, and responsibly.
Running from July 7- August 1, this 5-part series will feature a combination of learning sessions and a concluding day-long event. Food will be provided at all sessions!
- 4 Lunchtime Learning Sessions: Join us for interactive workshops and discussions, where we'll dive into specific AI topics such as basic prompts, creative use cases with Claude, and brainstorming sessions for practical hacks and efficiency boosters.
- Capstone Event: To wrap up the series, participants will collaborate in a longer, hands-on session. This is your chance to bring your creativity to life and work with your peers to build, explore, or test AI-powered ideas—whether for advancing work tasks, solving daily challenges, or just creating something fun!
Whether you're an AI beginner, experienced user, or just curious about its possibilities, the summer series offers a welcoming platform for staff to learn, explore, and connect with others in the Cornell Bowers community. Let’s come together, discover what’s possible, and find innovative ways to bring AI into our world!
The event is sponsored by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
